Heavy Grips Therapy Series - Light Resistance Hand Grippers
The Heavy Grips Therapy Series is the lightest pair of grippers Heavy Grips makes: 20 lb and 35 lb. They are for hands that are rebuilding strength or starting from a low baseline, where a 50 lb gripper is still too much.
- Two resistance levels: 20 lb and 35 lb
- A clear path up: the next step is the Fitness Series, which starts at 50 lb
- Fixed resistance: each gripper is one level, which makes progress easy to track
- Clinic tested: Heavy Grips says the series has been tested in physio clinics
If you are recovering from an injury or surgery, or managing a condition that affects your hands, follow your doctor's or therapist's guidance on when and how to use a gripper.
How to Use
- Set the gripper in your palm with one handle against the base of your thumb and the other under your fingers.
- Squeeze as far as you comfortably can, aiming to bring the handles together.
- Open your hand slowly and under control.
- Start with a few slow, pain-free reps per hand and build up gradually. Stop if you feel pain.

FAQ
Who is the Therapy Series for?
Anyone who needs a lighter starting point than a standard hand gripper: people rebuilding hand strength, older adults who want to keep their grip, and younger athletes with small hands who are new to grip training.
How is it different from the Fitness Series?
It is lighter. The Therapy Series is 20 and 35 lb, and the Heavy Grips Fitness Series picks up at 50 lb and runs to 120 lb.
When should I move up?
When you can close the 35 lb gripper for 10 or more easy reps, the 50 lb Fitness Series gripper is the next step.
Is this sold as a single gripper?
Yes. Each order is one gripper in the resistance you select.
