Country Crush Loading Pins
A loading pin is the piece that turns a grip implement into a lift: plates go on the pin, the pin clips to the handle, and you pull. Country Crush loading pins come in two sizes, 15" for Olympic plates and 12" for standard plates, in powder-coated steel with a drilled tab that takes a standard carabiner or a swivel. Choose the "with Carabiner" option if you do not already have one. Made in the USA by Country Crush.
Which Pin to Buy
- 15" Olympic: for plates with a 2" center hole, which is what most gym plates and all bumper plates have. The longer pin stacks more weight for heavy rolling handle, pinch block and vertical bar lifts.
- 12" Standard: for plates with a 1" center hole, common on home sets. Lighter and shorter, so it also travels well.
Not sure which plates you have? Check the hole in the center: Olympic is about the size of a golf ball, standard about the size of a quarter. The pin must match the plate; an Olympic plate will not seat on a 12" standard pin.
How to Use
- Unclip the carabiner from the tab and slide plates onto the pin.
- Clip the carabiner back through the tab and into the loop of your handle, pinch block or vertical bar.
- Lift. For single-point implements like the Vertical Lift Trainer, a swivel carabiner between the tab and the implement stops the load from twisting.
- To change weight, unclip, swap plates, clip back in. No collars needed; the carabiner holds the plates on.

FAQ
Which handles and implements does it work with?
Anything that hangs from a carabiner: the Country Crush Two-Hand Handle, the Raptor, the Pinch Blocks, the Vertical Lift Trainer, hub trainers and most other brands' grip tools.
Can I use Olympic plates on the 12" pin?
No. The 12" pin is sized for 1" standard plates. Olympic plates need the 15" pin.
Do I need the carabiner?
Yes, something has to connect the pin to the implement. If you already own a carabiner with a gate wide enough for the tab, buy the pin alone. Otherwise choose the "with Carabiner" option.
Do I need two pins?
Usually not. One pin moves between implements in seconds. A second one is handy only if you want two implements loaded at once, for example a two-hand pinch with two blocks.
