Country Crush & Raptor Grips for Progressive Grip Strength Training
Country Crush grips are the swap-in grips for the Country Crush Two-Hand Revolving Handle and the Raptor. Five diameters from 1.5" to 3" fit the same frames, so one handle covers everything from a first rolling-handle session to the wide open-hand training used against bigger opponents. Buy singles for the Raptor and discounted pairs for the Two-Hand Handle. Made in the USA by Country Crush.
Why Grip Diameter Matters
On a rolling handle the grip is the resistance. A smaller diameter lets your fingers wrap and hold more weight; a larger one forces an open hand, so the same weight is far harder to keep from spinning out. Moving up a size is the main way to progress rolling-handle training once adding plates stops being the limiting factor, which is why most lifters end up owning two or three sizes rather than one.
Which Size to Buy
- Baby Crush 1.5": smaller hands, younger athletes, and anyone new to rolling handles.
- Mini Crush 1.75": a half step between beginner and standard.
- Country Crush 2": the standard size and the one most arm wrestlers train on. Start here if you are not sure.
- Mega Crush 2.5": open-hand work for experienced lifters.
- Monster Crush 3": the widest grip, for building the open-hand position used against bigger opponents.
Single or pair: the Raptor takes one grip, so buy a single. The Two-Hand Revolving Handle takes two, and the pair option is priced below two singles.
How to Use
- Pull the pin from the handle frame and slide the old grip off the axle.
- Slide the new grip on and replace the pin. The swap takes seconds and needs no tools.
- Train your working size for most sets, and use the next size up for a few hard sets each week.
- Move your working size up when the current grip no longer rolls out of your hand at a heavy weight.

FAQ
Do these fit both handles?
Yes. Every size fits the Two-Hand Revolving Handle and the Raptor. The frames share the same axle.
Do I need a single or a pair?
One for the Raptor, two for the Two-Hand Handle. Pairs are sold at a discount for the Two-Hand Handle.
Which size should I start with?
2" if you are not sure. Go to 1.5" or 1.75" for smaller hands or a first rolling handle; 2.5" and 3" are for open-hand training once 2" is comfortable.
How do I know when to move up a size?
When your working grip stays under control at a weight that used to spin out of your hand, and adding more plates is no longer the hard part. Most lifters hold a size for several months.
Do I need a loading pin?
Only if you load the handle with plates. The Country Crush loading pins come in 12" standard and 15" Olympic. On a cable machine you only need a carabiner.
