The Country Crush Two-Hand Revolving Handle is the rolling handle arm wrestlers reach for when they want to train both hands at once. Two free-spinning grips on one steel frame mean every rep is a fight to keep the handle from rolling out of your hands, which is exactly what builds the wrap, cupping and finger pressure that hold up at the table. Clip it to a loading pin or a cable stack and you have a complete grip and forearm station. Made in the USA by Country Crush.

What It Trains

A fixed handle lets your fingers hook and your wrist help. A revolving handle takes that away. The grips spin freely on the axle, so the only thing holding the weight is the pressure of your fingers and thumb against the grip. That isolates crushing grip, thumb strength and wrist stability in one movement, and it is why rolling handles are standard equipment in arm wrestling and grip sport.

With two grips side by side, the Country Crush Handle lets you train heavy two-hand rows, curls, static holds and wrist flexion with both hands sharing the load. It is also the gentler way into rolling handle work: the two-hand position lets you start light and build volume, which makes it a good tool for prehab and for coming back from an elbow or wrist layoff.

Which Size to Start With

The grip diameter sets the difficulty. A smaller grip lets you wrap your fingers around it and hold more weight; a larger grip forces an open hand and makes the same weight far harder to hold.

  • 1.5" and 1.75": best for smaller hands, younger athletes and anyone new to rolling handles.
  • 2": the standard size and the one most arm wrestlers train on. If you are not sure, start here.
  • 2.5" and 3": open-hand training for experienced lifters and for building the wide grip used against bigger opponents.

Grips swap in seconds and every size fits the same frame, so you can add sizes later from the Country Crush grips page. Pairs are sold at a discount for this handle. If you already own grips, choose Frame Only.

How to Use

  1. Clip the handle to a loading pin with a carabiner and load plates, or clip it to a cable stack.
  2. Grab both grips, set your wrists in a neutral position and lift. Keep the handle from rolling by squeezing the grip. If you let the weight settle into curled fingers the way you would on a fixed bar, the grip will spin out of your hand.
  3. Work in sets of 5 to 8 reps for strength, or hold at the top for 10 to 20 seconds for static endurance.
  4. Add weight when you can finish every rep with the handle under control. Move up a grip size when the current one no longer rolls out of your hands at a hard weight.

Country Crush Handle or Raptor?

The Country Crush Handle trains both hands together on two grips. The Country Crush Raptor is the one-hand version, with a single grip and three mounting points for changing the angle of pull. Most serious arm wrestlers end up with both; if you are buying one, pick the Country Crush Handle for two-hand volume and general forearm work, and the Raptor for one-hand lifts and table-specific angles. The same grips fit both frames.

FAQ

Does it come with grips?

Every size option includes a pair of grips in that size. Frame Only is the bare frame for people who already own grips.

How many grips does it take?

Two, one per hand. The grips page sells pairs at a discount for this handle and singles for the Raptor.

Can I use it on a cable machine at the gym?

Yes. Clip it to the cable stack with a carabiner. It will not damage the machine, and it fits in a gym bag.

Which size should I buy first?

2" if you are not sure. Go to 1.5" or 1.75" for smaller hands or a first rolling handle; 2.5" and 3" are for open-hand training once 2" is comfortable.

Is this good for rehab or elbow pain?

Many lifters use it for prehab and for easing back into grip work after an elbow or wrist layoff, because two-hand rolling work lets you start very light. Follow your doctor's or therapist's guidance on when to load the joint.

What is the difference between this and the Raptor?

This handle has two grips for two-hand training. The Raptor has one grip and three mounting points for one-hand lifts at different angles. Both use the same grips.
